It all starts with a dedication to design and manufacturing a quality core that provides a solid foundation of quality. Indeed it was this devotion to overall rope core quality that led to the recent creation of a superior capabilty four-strand core offering that is unique throughout the entire elevator industry.

Unlike many other major manufacturers who buy core from other sources, and consequently find they have little or no control over quality specifications, Brugg manufactures its cores in a controlled humidity environment. Here we can maintain rigid quality standards in grease impregnation and can detect any flaws during the manufacturing process. As a result of this attention to quality, both in design and in construction, Brugg's cores result in our ropes providing lower average "construction stretch" during their lifetimes.
